Attique joins Pak Defence Council

ISLAMABAD: The former Premier of AJK and President of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim
Conference Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan along with his party has joined the first ever Defence of Pakistan Council (DoPC). The first formal DoPC’s
leadership meeting comprising heads of participating parties would be held on January 20, 2012 here.
The initial agenda of the DoPC is to
buttress the ideological and territorial defences of Pakistan with mobilizing the masses across Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir and sensitizing
them on national urgencies. Muslim Conference had observed on December 10, 2011 as Day of Pakistan’s defence, declaring this day as its annual
observance feature.
On Jan 22, 2012, there will be a public gathering in Rawalpindi under arrangements of the DoPC.
