Islamabad: Bi-Lingual Inter-Collegiate Debate Declamation will be held in WISH University (Islamabad) on Tuesday, 24th November 2009, at 10 AM. Students from different Institutions for Women from Islamabad and other cities are confirmed to attend this event. Renowned writer and Director General of Sustainable Development of Walled City Lahore Projects (SDWCLP) Mr. Orya Maqbool Jan will be the Chief Guest and will distribute prizes to the winners of the contest.
A European parliament peace lobbyist and lecturer, Ms Marjan Lucas is participating in the declamation contest as an observer. Ms Marjan is staff member of the IKV PaxChristi/Kashmir &Afghanistan program leader working since early 2002 as project manager in international partnership with the Kashmiri civil society activists in occupied Kashmir. She also served in Bosnia for IKV as international liaison officer.
